What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Learn more about the NSW Department of Education’s School Uniform Policy.

School shirts are navy blue for both boys and girls, light blue for sports days.

Boys wear grey shorts or pants with grey socks and black shoes and girls wear navy skorts or pants with white socks and black shoes.

Senior boys may also wear white shirts.

Our uniform is available from Orange Clothing Company, 4 McNamara Street, Orange.

Anson Street School Buses/ Vehicles

The school leases two KIA Carnivals and one Toyota HIACE to transport students around the local area for school activities like shopping or visiting the library or to attend special excursions organised by the staff.  The Anson Street School Excursions and Transport Supporters Inc. (ASSETS Inc.) own a ROSA bus and a Toyota HIACE bus, both with wheelchair access, providing students with opportunities to access the local and broader community.

The maintenance and running costs of these vehicles must be met by parental contribution - there is no Government or other subsidies available.  The cost per term for local excursions is $15/term or $60/year with payments due at the start of each year.

The transport contribution can be paid each term and covers travel costs for all local class and school excursions. Sport travel is an additional cost if your child accesses a venue offsite.

Hiring our facilities

You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring the facility does not interfere with our teaching and learning programs.

We assess each application on a case-by-case basis using the Community Use of School Facilities policy.
