Stage 6

Stage 6 (Years 11 and 12) students are working towards their Higher School Certificate (HSC) over two years. Students study a range of courses, including VET and Tafe subjects. Students move between classes for each course, and teaching and learning is shared among all the stage 6 teachers so that students can learn and build positive relationships with all staff. Through class rotations all students are fostering a growth mindset demonstrating their maturity, resilience and curiosity for learning.

Students have the opportunity to engage with and create connections with the community through a variety of work experience and intergenerational learning opportunities with the support of our school’s Engagement Officer Liam Low, and Skills Development Officer, Edwina Brennan.

Stage 6 classroom are located on Campus for 2026- giving students easy access to Anson Farm, The Zone and Library. Through course learning and breakaway groups, are encouraged to care and nurture their space by gardening and organising equipment in creating a sense of belonging and ownership of their senior space.

Stage 6 are very fortunate to have such a fantastic team working together to best support students on their journey during their senior years at Anson Street School in creating meaningful and positive learning experiences.
